About

I'm someone who has learnt 7 languages, so I'm very familiar with the experience of learning languages: the methods, tips and materials that are helpful. I used to teach English in France and from 1997, I've been teaching in London, face to face and online since 2020. Now I do a mix and I might add travel expenses to my rate if you are more than 10 minutes away from where I live and want face to face. I'm also a professional translator and interpreter for business and in the following fields: medical, social, police, government, housing, education.

Experience

I taught in schools between 1997 and 2004. I've been teaching children and adults privately since 1999 in London and online since 2020. I've trained students for several exam boards including AQA, OCR, Edexel and more. I've trained hundeds of students children and adults for exams and before a move or secondment to France, interviews and French interactions with colleagues at work. Experience with school exams but also with university and professional exams for business people and professional working in finance, law, insurance and as GPs, surgeons and psychiatrists. Experience with children and adults with special needs and Asperger's.
